Record Keeping in the Electronic Environment
Can you meet the minimum requirement?

As a reminder of the general rule taxpayers are generally required to keep records for a minimum of five years.

If you use electronic records, ensure that the storage media has a minimum life expectancy of five years.  If your bookkeeper or other third party keeps your records, make sure they are aware of this requirement.
