Last-minute super contributions

Do not leave superannuation contributions until the last few days of the year.

We refer to the separate article ‘Pitfalls of “late” super payment’.  Since that case, there has been another relating the 2009 year.

This year banking processing of Friday afternoon/evening transfers (and Saturday) may occur on Monday, which will be too late to be regarded as a 2012 financial year contribution.
